(Hey Liedlovers: Wanna know more – jump to the english version...)

We are especially looking forward to the Liedwettbewerb Stuttgart 2020 because
we will be given the chance to perform our exciting repertoire in a very special atmosphere.

We have been preparing for the competition
for a few months by first studying the Lied works of the chosen composers in order to be able to put together a diverse programme.

A word that characterizes my duo partner:
Clara about Freya: Wellenschlagen (like in Hugo Wolf’s "Die Nacht")
Freya about Clara: Nachtigallenchor (like in Hugo Wolf’s "Auf einer Wanderung")

Our favorite Hugo Wolf song is "Begegnung".
In only 90 seconds it brings to life two very different characters and their experiences together in dazzling colours, set to wonderful music.

The competition’s livestream is great because
we know from personal experience as an avid audience of past competitions, that the livestream of the competition is a great thing! Friends and fans of Lied singing and playing can tune in at any time.
